Global Women’s Empowerment Network (GWEN) has produced this PSA based on a poem that was written by Chelsea Tavares (actress/singer/dancer) who is also a celebrity spokesperson for GWEN. Still Music Box contains the messaging of child sexual abuse which happens behind closed doors on a daily basis. One never knows what goes on in quiet safe neighborhoods. It’s a call to be aware and to have courage to take a stand. Chelsea Tavares starred in ABC Family series “Make it or Break It” where her character had to confront her abuser who had sexually molested her at an early age. Chelsea has healed from her own story and has taken the courageous stand to share her poem, so that others can find the courage to get help and to know that YOU ARE NOT ALONE! Tess Cacciatore (co-founder) heard this poem and was moved to produce, shoot and edit the piece, so that her story could live on to inspire others.
