Lizzie Sider, the teen singer songwriter who has been selected by CMA as an ‘Artist to Watch” in 2013, will hit stages throughout Music City this month in promotion of her debut single, Butterfly. Lizzie, who is the latest advocate for the Global Women’s Empowerment Network (GWEN), felt it was important to share her personal story of adversity during her elementary school period and how that was channeled into her passion for music.

“Scribbling down lyrics and playing the piano became an escape to a happier and safer place when I was being teased and not accepted,” says Lizzie. “Now, I can’t even explain how much fun we had working on this album.”
